Uche Fuels Straightforward Crystal Palace Win at Irish Side Shelbourne.
Despite entering their maiden continental adventure, Crystal Palace are learning at a rapid pace. Without key players like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a commanding win that virtually secures them a place in the Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further three points in their upcoming fixture against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to seal straight entry to the last 16, particularly following a prior setback against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Opportunity
This occasion offered a chance for several Palace's lesser-used players to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second beginning after joining on loan from Getafe, notched the scoring with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a second, finding the net for the second game in match.

The contest was as good as over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past a series of comically weak challenges before calmly slotting a shot past keeper Wessel Speel to make it 3-0.
Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest several players like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse almost scoring his very first touch, but saw his effort blocked.
The youngster was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one attempt crash off both posts before being clasped on the line. Uche then blazed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still room for improvement in his game.
The only worry for Palace was a second-half injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect night for the traveling side.
